The greater metropolitan area known as London is the most populous in the United Kingdom and is the capital of England and the United Kingdom. This leading global city has a diverse range of people and cultures and was one of the leading metropolitan areas in the world during  the souvenir spoon era. Thus it is not surprising that a number of travelers purchased spoon souvenirs.

This exhibit is just a sample of the myriads of spoons available from this area.

Fun fact: The actual medieval size of London is only 1.12 sq miles and there are only about 7500 people who actually live in London. Of course, we all think of the greater London (21+ million people) which is technically incorrect.
