This spoon has three balls mounted at the finial and there is serrated
wire wrapping down the stem.
This large silver coin is dated 1802 and I believe that it comes from
one of the Italian Papal states.

This spoon has a fleur-de-lys at the finial and a winged angel near the
stem base.
This coin is dated 1804 and was issued by Tuscany, Italy in honor of
King Carolus and his wife Queen Marie Alovsia.
I found a reference to where this coin was once displayed by the US
Mint .

A most interesting finial with a naked man in a very suggestive pose
atop a column.
The 1856 coin is a 2000 Reis from Brazil and is for King Petrus 11
The finial is a well modeled sheep head and the stem has serrated
wiring design.
This coin is from the Vatican and is dated 1758 in Roman numerals. I
was able to find a picture of this rare coin on the web.

At the finial, this large spoon has a lion and a key which is
emblematic of Switzerland. The well made stem is twisty and has a
column base.
The bowl is gold washed -but I think that it was originally a silver
coin.
The coin is from Geneva Republic ca. 1723. I found a word description
in an old coin book that matched this coin perfectly.
The reverse is "post tenebrus lux" - -meaning after the darkness
-- light.
This picture is from a later Swiss coin but it is very similar to my
coin.
