MEDITERRANEAN ISLAND SPOONS

The Mediterranean sea is a large inland body of water (965,000 sq mi) between Europe, Africa and the Middle East
and was the primary link between early civilizations in the area.
Today it is a very important route for modern commerce  and the area is very critical to an understanding of the development of civilization.

malta, cyprus, capri spoons
1. The island of Cyprus is an 800 fine silver spoon and is fairly common
2.  The nicely enameled Malta spoon is unmarked, but I suspect that it is 800 silver. The bowl features the Barraca Lift which was the way most tourists were able to get to the
Valletta waterfront area and is also featured on vintage postcards of the era.
3.  The Capri spoon has an unidentified mark and may not be silver
