HUGE TRUMPET PLAYER SPOON

This used to be the  largest silver spoon which I own, but I have since acquired some slightly  larger. I think it is one of the largest "souvenir" spoons made.

This huge spoon bears pseudo 16th century hallmarks, but it was probably made in Germany or Holland circa 1900.

The purpose is simply for display. It would not be used in food serving as the joint between the finial and bowl is not strong enough.

This large detailed court trumpet player is abut 7.5" tall

The large bowl is cast with a nice floral arrangement. The bowl measures 3.9" long by 3.4" wide. The bowl is longer than many demi's spoons.
