The search for Java decorated silver pieces in a format that the Dutch settlers wanted is epitomized by this fish set.
the fish set is 800 silver and is very large and heavy. I have included a ruler and normal tea sized spoon so you can see the size.
Similar to the other pieces, the utensils are topped by a wayang figure and the stem represents the bamboo pole used to manipulate the puppets.
The fish slice is decorated by a cutout and engraved fish which is again surrounded by traditional foilage
The fork is also decorated with a cutout and engraved fish
