The Straights of Gibraltar is the narrow waterway which separates the European continent from the African Continent. It is also the meeting point for the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

The colored line thru the bowl is a reflection from the scanner and not on the spoon. A number of similar style spoons are available from this locality, although this is the only one I have. This spoon was actually made in Germany for resale to tourists in this area
