LOS ANGELES SPOONS

The city is home to renowned institutions covering a broad range of professional and cultural fields and is one of the most substantial economic engines within the United States."
Los Angeles is the largest city in California which is the largest state (population) in the USA. But it trails NYC in population.

Around 1900, the city was also a powerful tourist magnet and we find many spoons from this area.

The  official name is "El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Angeles del Río de Porciúncula"

sterling spoons for Westlake park, Los Angeles

Developed in the 1920's to resemble the Upper East Side of Manhattan, this central part of Los Angeles had a small lake and people would rent boats
for a leisurely Sunday afternoon. This spring fed lake has now been renamed Mac Arthur park after General Douglas Mac Arthur and it is now a Los Angeles Historical monument (#100)
