President Wilson proposed and had the Congress create the Federal Reserve, the Federal Trade Commission, the Clayton anti-trust act and the Federal Farm Loan Program.
He also tried to outlaw child labor (but the Supreme Court reversed his efforts).
He was also a major advocate for women's rights and for the rights of 'black Americans' (I am being politically correct)
Income tax was originally implemented during his Presidency (ugh) and of course the entry into World War 1 came during his term of office.
The souvenir spoon movement was slowing down during this era, but I would still have expected to find a lot of spoons about Wilson, but I only have one.
