Delta Line was America's first cruise ship company after World War II.
There were three ships plying the Caribbean and S. Americas waters from
Houston and New Orleans.
Customers were given first class service --"Resort at Sea". The Company
was acquired by Holiday Inn, but due to rising costs tried to convert
to cargo and eventually closed.
